We are the LAAA Team, a commercial real estate team at Marcus & Millichap specializing in multifamily investment sales across Los Angeles. Led by Filip Niculete and Glen Scher, we assist apartment investors and multifamily developers in acquisitions, dispositions, and strategic planning. What We're Looking For:
  • Proactive communicatorβ€”comfortable making phone calls when needed and following up to ensure tasks are completed.
  • Strong follow-up skillsβ€”consistent check-ins via phone and email to keep transactions and operations moving forward.
  • Experience in commercial real estate (multifamily brokerage preferred).
  • Knowledge of transaction coordination, escrow, and contracts.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Comfortable with CRM systems, spreadsheets, and digital tools.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with property management software (AppFolio, Yardi, Buildium, etc.)β€”not required, as our management needs are simple.
  • Must be able to commute to Encino, Los Angeles. Full-time in-office is preferred, but part-time in-office will be considered.
Responsibilities:
Brokerage Operations & Transaction Coordination (Primary Role – 30-35 hrs/week)
  • Oversee transaction workflows from listing to closing.
  • Manage compliance, document processing, and escrow deadlines.
  • Support a team of six junior associates with CRM and administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate marketing materials, email campaigns, and website updates.
  • Follow up consistently by phone and email with vendors, clients, and team members to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Handle day-to-day brokerage operations to improve efficiency.
Light Property Management (5-10 hrs/week)
  • Handle tenant communications, lease renewals, and rent collection.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor management.
  • Maintain financial records and assist with monthly reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with LA rental regulations.
